Easter happenings

Andy went to church an hour before B and I did yesterday. He was on pancake duty for the Easter brunch.
There were so many people there. I made a sausage hashbrown casserole. Surprisingly there weren't a lot of casseroles this year. They ate it all.
Pretty sanctuary on Easter decorated with tulips, daffodils and lilies. B came for breakfast but went home before worship started. I consider that a parental win.
At home, the table is set for the family dinner. The daffodils were from our yard. We bought the tulips at Mariano's a week ago Saturday. They opened beautifully but were losing petals by Sunday. Probably should have waited to buy them until Wednesday.
The plan was to set the table so the cats wouldn't get on the table.
Appetizers are ready. Against B's better judgment, we tried a different brand of meatballs. They tasted ok, but they're bigger than the usual ones - too big for appetizer meatballs.
Pre-party margarita tradition continues.
Let's eat!
Allison's lamb cake made from scratch.
We were surprised August didn't hide like he usually does when we have family over. Instead, he sat at the table searching for scraps.
