In addition to posting things to Facebook and writing for the newsletter, I send things for the museum to newspapers to see if they'll run a release and possibly do stories on our bigger events. Nice to see my things online.
And the flier I made for the same event successfully got posted at the libraries. These promos were for an event that happened Sunday and 80 people showed up, about 30 who have never before been to the museum. Standing room only. I was told it might have been the largest crowd ever for a talk. People love trains.
