Vero Beach Wednesday

This is our building - Building 12. We're on the third floor, top level.
We started the day with mini-golf. I didn't beat Andy but I did get two holes in one and he had none.
This delicious Italian sandwich was from Beach Bites, a little sandwich shop/convenience store within walking distance from our resort. We had a sandwich yesterday and it was so good we went back for another today. It had a lot of business from tradesmen (plumbers, contractors, landscapers) so if the locals eat there, you know it's good.
It was too hot to sit at the pool in the afternoon so we went for a drive. Ended up at American Icon Brewery.
Our bartender gave us the whole story how the brewery came to be. It's right next to the train tracks so when a train comes through, they ring the bell and shots are $5. Interesting gimmick but we don't do shots.
The centerpiece of the bar is an old diesel engine that was left in the building when the city sold it. There were six and the other five worked and were sold by the developer to somewhere in South America. This one was stripped of its inside and turned into a bar prop. Each tap pull is a Statue of Liberty.
We got a flight and each chose three beers we wanted to taste. We spent the rest of the day at the pool.
