I rode with Allison for a day trip to U of I. We brought some groceries to B and some gloves and hats to L.
B's roommate has been sick with covid and since his roommate has the car B had no way to get to the grocery store. (Well, he could take the bus). We brought him milk, eggs, lots of pasta, mini muffins and home-baked brownies. Look how happy he is.
From B's apartment we went to L's dorm. She recently switched rooms (had to get away from initial roommate who won't follow covid protocols). Her new roommate, though, has a fever so L didn't want to chance going into the room to give us stuff to bring home. She's been sleeping on a friend's floor until she hears her roommate's test results.
She was wearing new Halloween Crocs. We took her to lunch at Wendy's - drive-through only open - and did a little shopping.
So good to see them both!
