Here's L before leaving for school this morning, ready and packed for a fun-filled weekend at our church retreat on the shore of Lake Michigan. She's going with another family who will pick her up at church after school and off they go! She'll be back Sunday afternoon. She's packed lots of snacks and fireworks, which the adults all have been warned about. Can't wait to see some pictures of her weekend!
Last night, Andy went with L to the high school to learn more about a trip to the presidential inauguration in January. L said she thinks she was the only freshman at the meeting. She's not sure whether she wants to go, but she said we should save the registration papers for a while ... just in case.
