Her 'save forever box'

For some unknown reason, L had a burning desire the other night to find her duck whistle we bought as a souvenir on our trip to Boston in 2011. She searched through all the drawers on the back porch then went to the basement and brought up her "save forever box" that's full of report cards, homework assignments, art projects, souvenirs, etc., and the duck whistle!

She had a good time looking through the box and had to snap chat certain items with her friends.

This was a good find - her writing journal from kindergarten. It says, "I like Care Bears," spelled phonetically. Some of the words were so incomplete she couldn't read them at all. Thankfully, her writing has improved through the years.
