Another snow day for all three kids today. We got 18.5 inches of snow - the fifth heaviest snowfall in Chicago history. Hardly anyone is out driving around. Andy, of course, went to work after snow-blowing the sidewalks early this morning. E, and Ruri passed some time this morning playing Uno.
About noon, they all got bundled up to meet with other students and hosts at Barrie's sled hill. L went over to a neighbor's house and borrowed two sleds. We only have one so having three sleds among four kids is going to work out better, obviously. It was a little entertaining to see this snow plow get stuck in the alley. A front-loader was called to push down on the truck bed so the plow would have enough traction to get out.
