L had her very first singing lesson today. A woman at church gives singing lessons and since L is always singing, we figured it could only make her sound better (and since we have to listen to her singing ...). L did pretty well. She did a warm-up then sang a couple of Adele songs, "Someone Like You" and "Rolling in the Deep." L's homework is to send her teacher an email with songs and artists she likes. When her teacher asked, L said, she likes Avril Lavigne, Pink, Bruno Mars, Uncle Kracker, Adele and Taylor Swift. This could get interesting.
