Today was the annual Turkey Trot at L's school. Students in grades 3-5 run four times around the school building (a city block) and the top boy and girl in each grade win a $10 gift certificate to a grocery store to help toward their family's Thanksgiving dinner. L didn't do much running or trotting. When I saw her she was walking. No gift certificate for us.

Turkey trot...er, walk
Today was the annual Turkey Trot at L's school.
