L has signed up to participate in Irving's Egg Drop Contest on Wednesday and asked E to help her create a contraption that will allow an egg to fall safely from the school's third floor to the playground. E designed the parachute by taping three plastic grocery bags together and L designed the egg holder itself - two styrofoam bowls taped together. Inside the bowls are more plastic grocery bags to cushion the egg. They did a trial run from L's room and the egg survived. We'll see how well it does on Wednesday!
