Today I chaperoned a fifth-grade field trip to the Adler Planetarium. The kids were given packets of questions to answer and B did most of them. After a while, though, the teachers told the kids not to worry about completing the packets. I didn't think B and his friends would be able to hold out till 1 p.m. for lunch, but they managed to do so. B wore his Santa hat and stashed some pretzels in it to eat on the ride home. That's against all the rules.
