Temperatures in the low 40s didn't deter the kids from trick-or-treating. B, who had a friend sleep over last night, apparently was up playing video games later than 11 p.m. when we had told them it was lights out. While the E and L were getting their costumes on, B was fast asleep on the couch.
Eventually, he woke up, put on the race car driver costume and hit the streets in search of treats.
L wore her very pink Bat Girl costume and E was a red and black unknown phantom. You can't see into E's mask, but she claims she can see out. She went trick-or-treating with her friend A, who was dressed as the tooth fairy. Walking back home with a plastic pumpkin (pink, of course) full of candy, L said, "This is the most greatest day of my life." She certainly lives in the moment.
