Rain doesn't dampen spirits

It's been raining all day and although that forced B and L's school to hold its Halloween Parade indoors, it certainly didn't dampen anyone's spirits.

L was dressed as a pink Batgirl (literally, a pink costume from the top of her bat ears to the bottom of her bat boots). B had intended to wear his Darth Vader costume from last year again, but at the last minute changed his mind and wore the race car driver outfit from two years ago. It was obvious how much taller he's gotten in the last two years when the bottom of his costume didn't reach the top of his socks.

L came home from her class party with a plastic glove filled with popcorn, a decorated mini pumpkin and a lunch bag full of treats from her classmates. B returned an empty container that shows how much his classmates enjoyed his brownies.

E, who's in middle school, came home to tell me one of her teachers dressed as Magnum P.I. Of course, none of the kids knew who that was so the teacher found a YouTube video to show the class.
