‘Jurassic Oceans’

Andy and I went to the Field Museum last night for a Founders Council viewing of the "Jurassic Oceans" exhibit, a moderated discussion with the president of the Field and the director of the Natural History Museum in London, and some dinner.
The discussion. They talked a lot about museums sharing collections to assemble traveling exhibits which was interesting.
We tried a little of everything. The salad had beets in it so I ate around those. I had a fish taco for the first time and was surprised I didn't taste any fish, thanks to sour cream and lettuce. The little slider sandwiches were OK bit neither of us finished the vegetable one. They need to label the buffet a little better lol.
The exhibit was interesting. They made it feel like you're under water.
Wouldn't want to find this in the water.
This shows the bones in my hand. These ancient reptiles had five separate bomes in their "hands" but were covered with a separate piece of skin instead of having fingers.
Fossil poop. Had to send this one to the girls.
And dessert - coconut sorbet with pineapple slices, caramel sauce, walnuts and whipped cream. I don't like coconut but it had a very mild coconut flavor.
There we are, taken by the photographer the museum hired to capture the event. Pretty sure I was showing Andy the picture of the chalkboard L drew at work that morning.
