With Cook County's ridiculous sweetened beverage tax, we decided it was worth it to take a short drive to DuPage County to buy Coke when it was on sale four 12-packs for $10. We bought eight 12-packs, saving us $1.44 in tax on each one. That's a savings of $11.52 in tax alone. Hopefully, this tax gets repealed.
