L and I were walking into her orthodontist appointment this afternoon when we got a text from Julie telling us Cousin S was on the cover of the local newspaper. After L's appointment, we had some time to kill before picking up B from work at the high school, so we stopped into a Walgreens and found the paper. S was photographed at the Farmers Market on Saturday, the last one of the season. When Julie pointed out that she used to work with the photographer, I put on my glasses and realized the photographer was the photo chief the entire time I worked in the Oak Park office. I had just invited him to a mini-reunion dinner so I figured I had to email him and mention the coincidence. Small world.
