Happy b-day to me

What a beautiful day in Chicago. E went shopping with her friend, A, but the rest of us went into Chicago and walked around Millennium Park, then along the riverwalk. Andy and I decided we should come down some evening for (a nice, quiet) dinner (for two) at one of the restaurants on the riverwalk.

While I was getting a picture with B, L was busy trying to collect change from a fountain in the park. We made her put it all back.

The flag was still hanging on the Wrigley Building when we walked by.

We walked by the McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum and it happened to be free on Sundays so we went inside. We walked up flights and flights of stairs, going from river level to a few stories above Michigan Avenue. The views were pretty spectacular.

For dinner, we went to an outdoor beer garden in LaGrange. It wasn't great but it was nice to have all the kids there. Here's a pics of me and E that I took before we went to dinner since she missed the downtown Chicago outing.
