I was going through a cabinet today and found these - handmade cards from E and B from Mother's Day 2006. I love that E wrote, "You are the very best mom I ever had." Makes it sound like she was anticipating getting another one. B's had nothing inside except shapes and he wrote "uno" on the back. He asked me why he wrote that. I have no idea.
