L and his family came back to Chicago last night to surprise his dad with a 50th birthday party. Today L came over about 2 p.m. He and B, along with IR and IB, have been playing video games most of the day. They took a break to go to Pete's for an early dinner. After dark, the gang and the girls, E and L, went over to Irving to play hide and seek. Today was L's 15th (!) birthday so my L decided to bake him a cake. When it was done we called the boys upstairs (along with E who was giving them tips from the internet on how to flirt), lit candles on the cake and the boys sang Happy Birthday to him in Japanese. Here they are singing. L was laughing at them.
Last time L was here from Ohio was in
April. It's so nice that they take time to let the boys visit when they come to town.
