Random Disney pics
L couldn't resist trying on these Mickey pretzel ears while we were in the Germany area of Epcot. No, she didn't buy them.
Saw a custodian at Hollywood Studios making a Mickey out of leaves.
Apparently this water bottle says Disani in Star Wars language.
The window of a door at the Boardwalk was broken one afternoon (boarded up by the next morning). We were asking what happened and some said a scooter ran into it. I sent the picture to Allison and she replied, "Rookie."
I saw this 50th anniversary when we went to Disney in January but they were flying off the shelves. I told L to be on the lookout for it and she found them! She tried it on and said I'd probably like the XL. Can't have a tight hoodie. She bought one for herself too. We tried to take a picture of one of us showing the front and the other showing the back but it didn't work as I had envisioned it.
One of the many topiaries we saw at Epcot's Flower and Garden Show.
Lots of clouds on the flight home.

At the Boardwalk
A look at our accomodations. Nice, but not updated like Saratoga Springs where we stayed in January.
Pretty lobby.
They still have the creepy little chairs I remember from our last stay here.
Hidden Mickey on top of the lamp ...
and in the curtains in our room.
View of the Yacht (gray building) and Beach Club (blue building) from our patio.
Kind of wild carpet in the hallways.
Tuesday morning sunrise with a Friendship Boat.
Our room was in the Crest of the Wave part of the Boardwalk. We had a balcony off the bedroom and one off the living area.

While we were in Disney
B and I started this puzzle before Andy and I left for Disney. I had the frame put together before we left. He texted this completed picture Sunday morning. That didn't take him very long. I suppose the cats were being cooperative.
On the West Coast, E and D were busy with more painting.
The paint colors do complement each other. Goodbye, white walls!
Sunday night Allison and B went to a new ramen restaurant together for dinner.
B texted me this picture Monday morning (with no explantion, and none needed) ...
the Aerogarden has tomatoes!! I knew the tomatoes would start growing while we were away!

Last day at Disney
Andy and I saw Daisy Duck as we entered Epcot this morning.
We waited a little over an hour to ride Ratatouille.
Then we stopped at the Yacht Club to give L a shirt she left in our room and to say goodbye.
We got to see her in action - putting wristbands on pool-goers and answering lots of questions.
Her post at the gate at the bottom of the slide.
Posing for mom.
Checking out the Orlando United Club.

Disney Tuesday
L stayed over again but this morning she had to go to work. Here we are on the boat - she was going to Yacht Club and we were on our way to Hollywood Studios.
We waited to the Rock 'n Roller Coaster to open up but it was having problems. The workers said it would take at least four hours before it started again. Tower of Terror was also closed, as was Rise of the Resistance. Hmmm. We did discover a restroom we never thought we'd seen before.
Time to grab a seat, a snack and people-watch.
As we were leaving Hollywood Studios we saw the Pixar parade.
Buzz Lightyear!
We spent some time at the Boardwalk main pool while L finished up her shift. We even had time to run to Epcot and go on Soaring and Spaceship Earth before L was showered and ready for dinner. She had us drive to Ford's Garage (it's next to an outlet mall. Hmmm.) The food was really good. We did a little shopping (for L! of course) then dropped her back at her apartment. Her mini-vacation with the oarents is over ... and her roommate is leaving the program tomorrow so she wanted to be there for her.

Monday at Disney
The sunrise from our balcony at the Boardwalk.
Breakfast on a budget.
Spent the morning in Magic Kingdom.
Riding the Big Thunder Railroad.
We drove L to her apartment so she could grab a few more clothes to stay with us. We also stopped at Cast Connections, a store for cast members. I found a tank top (she's modeling it) and L got another (eek!) Loungefly backpack. She paid $28 for the backpack before her cast discount. They're $85 in the park. Quite a savings.
After some afternoon pool time Andy and I had dinner at the Biergarten.
Good and filling.
A selfie with a Disney anniversary screen.
I stayed in the room but Andy and K went back to Epcot to watch the fireworks and go on a few rides during the after hours for deluxe resort guests.

Disney Sunday
We went to the Polynesian Resort this morning for breakfast at Kona. I wore the shirt L gave me as an early Mother's Day present. B later informed me all three kids pitched in for it.
It was all-you-can-eat. Filled us up. We then went to L's apartment and filled two suitcases with clothes to being home. We took her grocery shopping.
Andy and I relaxed on the Boardwalk while L went to check in at Epcot.
We came back and took the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios.
We waited 140 minutes to get on Rise of the Resistance. Such a cool ride.
We came back to the pool and ordered a pizza to eat there for dinner. We got to Magic Kingdom in time to see the fireworks. After the fireworks we rode the People Mover, went on Pirates of the Carribean with no wait and waited 25 minutes, if that, to get on Splash Mountain.
