With no kids to home to shower me with gifts for Mother's Day (lol), Allison bought me a little chocolate bundt cake yesterday when we were out hitting garage sales.
My find of the day was this U of I cookie cutter for $1. It's really strong, perhaps handmade? It could come in handy for my Illini grads.
An early Mother's Day outing, Andy and I went to Fitzgerald's yesterday afternoon to hear Great Peacock. It was pretty chilly. Nice to have a live music venue within walking distance. And they just opened a barbecue restaurant and everything we saw come out of it looked, and smelled, delicious. We plan to go back at some point for dinner.
Nice surprise seeing B's liturgy from 2017 being part of this morning's church service.
