She's home!

After an 11-hour flight from Tokyo, E arrived at O'Hare this morning.

Dad got a big hug.

The living room looked like Christmas morning when she got done unpacking her suitcase. She had candy for L and all of it she tried so far was disgusting, she said.

Among her souvenirs was a shirt with random English writing on it and these adorable Pikachu slippers from the Pokemon Center. The slippers are a little small since she had to guess her foot size in centimeters. She'll make them work.

Sensei gave the students lots of time to shop in Tokyo. She and her friend, N, met up again with their California friend, F, at one of the shopping centers. They had these photos taken in a photo booth.

After he got home from summer school and looked over the gifts she brought him, they went on a walk around town.
