When I drove Andy to the train this morning, the car showed the outside temperature at 15 degrees. When I got back home, after driving maybe eight blocks, the temperature showed -3. And I wasn't out that long.
The elementary school is closed again today and the high school closed today too. B had his friend, B, come over last night and that turned into a sleepover. One last hurrah before going back to school tomorrow.
E spent her afternoon going out for about a half-hour at a time to carve Darth Vader into the snow bank by the garage. She said quite a few cars slowed down to look at it as she was working on it. A cab driver gave her a thumbs up. It did look pretty good when it was done.
I just had to get a picture of E under the drift that formed on our garage roof. It's going to fall on someone, someday, but so far it's holding steady.
