E played with the junior varsity team today against Hinsdale Central, the team that's been nearly impossible to beat. (That's E on the left in a picture her coach took at the meet.) On a par 30, nine-hole course she scored 38. That was the lowest score on her team even though they still lost to Hinsdale. E did, though, tie with the girl she was directly competing with. She's hoping the score is good enough to earn her practice with the varsity team this week. They're practicing at the Oak Park Country Club and she's been dying to get on that course.
