Church was peaceful today for the Second Sunday of Advent. Andy was asked to walk up during the opening hymn, light a candle and place it in the sand.
I picked up a grocery bag for our Advent project. To count down to Christmas, you place a different food item in the bag each day. Then you bring the bag to church on Christmas Eve and it will be delivered to the local food pantry.
Not sure how all of this is supposed to fit into this bag!
L went into work this afternoon to practice decorating cookies they're hoping to sell at Christmas. She brought home a bunch of burnt ones to practice on. The boss popped in and said they looked good though L wasn't too happy with how the candy canes looked. Practice, practice.
