Andy and I went to the Field Museum tonight for the annual Board of Trustees Holiday Reception. We've never seen the museum decked out in its holiday glory before.
We got little jars of honey as favors and also were able to take advantage of 25 percent off in the gift shop. The appetizers weren't so good though so we stopped at a Chinese restaurant for take-out on the way home. We did have a nice conversation with one of the new board trustees and a museum employee who used to work at Disneyworld. He said he'd be willing to sit down with L and tell her all about Disney. We may just take him up on that.
