L didn't have any finals today so she was able to stay home from school. We made a quick shopping run when I got home from work and L found a family of snowmen she thought would look good in the back yard. It was an obvious return, the box was beaten up, and it had a $25 clearance price. We had been looking around at outdoor decorations to replace our old reindeer and the price on these snowmen was right. It was much easier for L to put together once she found the instructions.
And the minute she laid Mr. Snowman down, Muffles crawled inside. It took some coaxing to get him out of there.
Here she is putting in the stick arms. We had to put baby's scarf on the Mom (baby's scarf was missing), the baby is wearing a cat scarf. And the baby doesn't have a nose ... or arms! We're thinking it won't be too noticeable. When I read the item's reviews online a lot of customers said their boxes were missing parts. At least it's not just us. It was on clearance for a reason, I told L.
They are pretty cute all put together and lit up. Can't wait to get them in our yard.
