Disney Sunday
It's Welcome Home days for DVC mebers so we started off our Sunday with free coffee and pastries at Too of the World. We spent enough there on drinks on Saturday night with L and her boyfriend that we took a banana and two orange juices for another day.
It was pretty busy. The cheese danish was very good.
Then we went to Magic Kingdom and rode Space Mountain with an amazing 10-minute wait and Tron with about a 30-minute wait. The park is decked out for Halloween.
My Disney glasses that I bought on our sisters trip in 2022 broke. The lens fell out before (also on vacation) and I tried to superglue it back in but that obviously didn't work so in the trash they went.
We went to Boardwalk to see our favorite Disney employee at work.
Her station.
On the way back through Epcot we stopped for a drink in the England area. The garden has a good people-watching spot and it did not disappoint.
Then a little afternoon pool time. These cups from the 2022 trip have held up a lot better than those sunglasses.
We met L at Disney Springs for dinner at City Works.
She had fancy mac and cheese, Andy had a chopped chicken salad and I had a grilled chicken sandwich.
We were back in our room to see the fireworks. They were a little different because Magic Kingdom was having its Halloween party. Some of the fireworks were pumpkins, candy corn and skeleton heads. Notice that Space Mountain is lit up in red for the party.
Here's L and W at the Halloween party last Friday.
