Back at Disney

Allison picked us up at 6 a.m. yesterday for our flight to Orlando. We had breakfast in the United Club, as usual. We even stopped in the united Club for a "free" and quick lunch when we landed.

We picked up the rental car, made a quick stop at a Costco for water and a chicken taco meal for our dinner, and our room was ready by time we arrived at Bay Lake Tower. Cute towel Mickey on the bed to welcome us home. We're in room 7728 which is very close to the elevator and we didn't even request it - much better than last time.

Allison is caring for the kittens while we're away. Ruby got all cozy with her. Guess she forgot all about us already ... or she's just a cuddly cat. We'll go with cuddly cat.

L and her boyfriend, W, came over to Bay Lake and we all went to the Top of the World lounge for a drink. It was our first time meeting W. He seems very sweet. I asked all of the important questions - they "met" on a dating app (Hinge), he's 24, 6 foot 4 and works as a welder making food-grade tanks.

Sunset from our room balcony. Wifi is slow. L and W went to his house while Andy and I ate half of the chicken tacos for dinner - it's a big package - then went to Magic Kingdom.

We rode the People Mover and saw the lights on inside Space Mountain as we passed through.

On the People Mover. It rained a bit during the day but was still about 90 degrees after dark. Magic Kingdom was was packed for the electrical parade.

We also went on Small World. Andy said it was refurbished recently. Maybe it looked brighter than before (maybe?) but it's the same. There's so much to see I notice new things every time we ride it. We also went through the Haunted Mansion before calling it a night.

We were able to watch the fireworks show from our balcony.
