Last weekend Allison, L, her friend, A, and I went to some yard sales by O'Hare. This was L's find - a creamer and sugar bowl with the Morton Salt girl on it. She said it reminded her of Grandma Barbara who collected the girl on coffee mugs. Always looking for a bargain, L saw that one table had a set priced at $5 but another table had a set priced at $2. And the creamer inside was priced at $3. She handed it to the woman whose sale it was and was told it would be $2.
We had to pause our search for yard sales to let these geese cross the road.
