L and I went over to our friend M’s house for lunch this afternoon. Here’s L with R. They’ve been in youth group together and knew each other through church a few years prior to that.
We sat on their back porch and ate. M made a fabulous (and filling) lunch of cold cuts, potato salad, mac and cheese, chips and fruit. L brought over some oatmeal cookies she made for dessert but M served brownies with ice cream on top.
And as if the lunch wasn’t enough they gave L a graduation/farewell card with a Starbucks gift card. They said she can treat herself when she’s at U of I. I think I need to ask M for the secret to growing those Boston ferns.
