We were planning on ordering from Longhorn Steakhouse for Mother's Day but we drove past in the afternoon and the line was crazy. And when we tried to call to order the phone queue was long. We opted for Lou Malnati's instead. Tonight we got my steak dinner! On Allison's recommendation, we got the four dinners for $40 meal. It was a lot of food and it was good.
The lillies in the bouquet my preschool friend, G, brought over the other day have opened up beautifully.
I signed up to "sponsor" one of L's friends as a graduating senior. You "sponsor" a student and drop off some surprises for them. He's in L's Japanese class and plans to become a Japanese teacher so we took time off from sewing masks and drove to Mitsuwa. L went in while I waited in the car and bought him (and herself) lots of treats. This was part of the line to get in. It extended about four more people past where the photo ends. They were only allowing 25 people in the store at a time.
