The local food pantry sent L a thank you note today for the recent $120 donation they gave as 20 percent of their mask sales in April. Also today, they sent out their story to their mailing list. Not much later, L got an email from a producer at WGN News who wants to use the girls' photos in some sort of graduation story they're doing. She was so excited.
And this afternoon, the OPRF superintendent included the story in her weekly email. Way to go, girls!!
L's friend and business partner N's mom posted this the other day to Facebook. It shows the girls' logo L created and several of the masks the girls have made. L says it's very cool to see people in town wearing the masks they made!
