Last day at the crop
Monday's gift for being there - a reusable bag.
My last page today was our recent Disney trip. Over the weekend, I updated E's and B's albums, finished a small album for our 2024 Key West trip, and completed 19 single pages in my album. This was the first time the crop lasted four days instead of three and having that much time is very helpful.
That's a lot of paper trash. We emptied that a few times throughout the weekend.
This is the group picture taken Saturday at the request of the consultant who organized the crop. She requested that people wear fall colors, if they could. Some of us followed the suggestion.
I always like driving past the big "catsup" bottle in Collinsville.
Gas at Litchfield was under $3 a gallon. Fill 'er up.
There was more construction on I-55 going north than I remember driving south. Made it home in about four and a half hours. Once I got off the interstate, I checked GPS to see the fastest route home. Surprisingly, it was straight down Cermak Road through Berwyn and traffic there was unbelievably light for a weekday/holiday. I assume a lot of residents aren't leaving their homes because of reported ICE sightings.
