I can't do much about Ruby sitting next to me while I work on a puzzle, but the cover that came with the puzzle board works well at keeping them from tearing up my progress when I'm away. The trick is remembering to keep the puzzle covered when I'm not working on it.
Done but missing one edge piece.
But there was an extra piece in the box that obviously doesn't belong to this puzzle.
