Here's the picture L sent me of her last night as a cast member, enjoying time with a friend in Epcot.
We were up early and tried to eat as food as we had left before we had to check out. We did pretty good on the groceries. Left some waters for housekeeping, if they can keep them. I'm not sure if that's against the rules.
We packed four large suitcases of mostly L's things. We also had two carry-on suitcases, a big Disney shopping bag, my tote bag, L's fleece blanket, L's roller skates and a duffle for L. And it all fit into the rental!
On the way to the airport. We stopped for gas at Costco. Gas was around $3.50 everywhere and a little cheaper at Costco. That's at least $1 less than it is in Illinois.
After security, we went to the United Club. Our flight was supposed to take off at 4:20 p.m. but was delayed an hour ... then another hour ... and another hour. We finally took off at about 7:30 p.m.
The United Club is nice for a couple hours but we were there probably four-plus hours and it's not a comfortable place to nap. We did make it to O'hare and Allison was there to pick us up. All the luggage and the three of us fit into her car! And then B let us into the house (none of us had keys) and helped carry in luggage. It was a long day and Andy is the 3 a.m. donut shift captain tomorrow.
