Game gifts are ready

I spent yesterday afternoon wrapping the prizes for whatever game we end up playing at the family Christmas. It’s usually bingo, but I’ve got trivia games and a few other options, so we may shake things up this year. All told, it took me a solid hour and a half to wrap 16 presents. That time included deciding which things should be wrapped, whether two smaller items should become one prize, and, of course, spending an unreasonable amount of time hunting down my tape and scissors. (Why do those always disappear the moment you need them?) I even labeled them female, male or either - just my thoughts. Winners can choose any gift they want. I had to text Cindy and said I bet she wished she was here to help me wrap them like she has in the past. She responded that I'd probably like the help. Well ... yeah.
I wrapped them while watching ISU play UC Davis in a playoff game. ISU won 42-31!! We considered going to an alumni event in Elmhurst to watch the game but after doing grocery and Christmas shopping, Andy was too tired because he had his office party Friday night. He didn’t help me wrap the prizes, but to be fair, after he woke up from a nap, he did make me a margarita. I guess that counts as moral support?
My "helpers" Piper ...
and Ruby. Notice her cute red Christmas bow tie. I ordered them the other day (an impulse buy) and they arrived yesterday. Piper's is the same but it's green. I have a goal to get a picture of them together modeling their bow ties.
