Wedding detail

E mentioned last month that she wanted a simple mirror to post the seating chart on for the wedding. We looked at some at Hobby Lobby and even with their everyday 50 percent discount, they were $60 to over $100 for what she wanted. Surely, I said I can find something less expensive for a one-time use. And I did. This mirror was $15 at Goodwill. I showed it to Andy who immediately Facetimed E - waking her up - and she gave it her stamp of approval. We bought it, lugged it home (it's quite heavy) and sanded it down. Andy seemed pretty happy to have a reason to pull out his electric sander.

Step 2 was taping it up and spray-painting it copper, one of the wedding colors. When E is home this week, she'll print out the seating chart (she was thinking of printing them at Staples though I think she should have Andy print them at his office - just buy some fancy paper) and tape them to the mirror. I'm excited to see how it will look at the reception!
