Birthday happenings

This was a nice way to wake up on my birthday yesterday. I had a donut shift to serve iced coffee at 6:30 a.m. so Andy, who was at church early then went golfing, said he'd make coffee for me to start brewing at 5:30 so it would be ready when I got up. Not only was the coffee ready, he left me a card on too of a "love" mug. Awww!
Then this was my view for the next three hours, breaking up ice and serving iced coffee. It was a hot, hot day so I was busy. The others working my shift sang Happy Birthday to me.
I was under the tent the whole time so I'm not sure how my face got so red. My dermatologist won't be happy with me. My bra and underwear were soaked. It felt nice to come home and take a cool shower.
What a nice gift from the kids ... and it arrived on my actual birthday! I can't set it up until after my church ladies' dinner on Monday.
For dinner we went to Maria's for Mexican food. I had been there before with the church ladies, but it was Andy's first time.
So pretty inside. These glass lamps are hanging everywhere.
I had chicken and cheese enchiladas and Andy had a steak burrito. Very good and we both have leftovers.
My cards. Andy pointed out that the one from him has birds on it. The other ones are from Cindy and Aunt Lorene.
