L said Vader is happy because our friend Gloria was in Hershey this week, had breakfast with L and brought back a suitcase full of clothes. (Just to note how many clothes L has, we also brought back a suitcase on the aunts' trip). Any way, Vader is happy that he won't be squished in the back seat on the ride home this week.

The suitcase has arrived at Gloria's house. Now to make plans to go get it.

Poor Vader. He got it on both ends Thursday - neutered and teeth worked on. He's so drugged he can't walk.
Andy was going to fly out after work Friday and drive home with L in her car on Saturday. I said that's a long drive so maybe you should stop somewhere in Indiana for the night then drive the remainder Sunday. He needs to be back early Sunday for training at the golf tournament he's volunteering for next week. Instead, he switched his flight to early Friday and booked a hotel near the Indiana/Ohio border for Friday night. He had to grab a connecting flight in Newark, N.J., but it gave him time to eat and drink at the United Club there. This is the New York skyline which, as any good Chicagoan would say, doesn't look any better than Chicago's, just spread out a bit more.
L picked Andy up from the airport and he made sure her apartment was clean.

L taking a call from our Congressman, Danny Davis, at dinner last night. She looks confused, eh? Andy texted me the picture and as he was explaining why she was talking to him my phone rang and suprise ... it was Danny Davis. He was doing a robo call about flood relief.
