Started a part-time job yesterday as the coordinator of community outreach for the local historical society. This should be fun.

I spent the day going through decades of the high school's newspaper. The high school is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year and the museum has an exhibit opening in September. Kind of fun to see Andy's name in the masthead for his sophomore, junior and senior years ... and his pictures.
What!? How cool would it have been to have Styx play at your high school for a Community Chest fundraiser? This was in the Oct. 19, 1973, issue.
A fun surprise - it was a coworker's birthday so we had cupcakes. I was told there won't be cake every day lol.
These ads were in a November 1981 issue - my father-in-law advertising his law practice (interesting for a high school newspaper) and a school-sponsored spring break trip to Jamaica.
