Our neighbors have moved to Michigan to be closer to family. Their two-bedroom house has been on the market for about a month, listed at $329,000. I've been going over every day to empty their dehumidifier and make sure everything looks ok. This couple was the third owners since we've lived next door. We're curious to see who buys it.
We're especially curious to see if the next owners will be gardeners. This couple, J and S, have done a lot of work to create a very nice yard. I've been trying to coax these daisies into our yard for years.
We're going to miss them. They've fed the cats when we've been on vacation and have helped us move some furniture into our house. We've kept an eye on their house when they've been gone. We've borrowed their lawn chairs and they've brought T-shirts back for the kids when they visited Ireland.
They said it's been fun watching our kids grow up. They bought the house in summer 2004, so L was almost 2.
Andy and I noticed the other day - a basement stairwell that used to lead to a door.
