Friday morning Cindy and I went to a couple of estate sales. One was just up Ridgeland. They had lots of antiques. Cindy bought some books, a hatbox and a huge enamel coffeepot.
I was eyeing this beautiful, solid wood bar. They said I could have it for $200 but we measured it and came home to see if, and where, it could fit in the dining room. I decided it was too big. Beautiful and sturdy though.
The second sale was in Westchester. I bought this vintage decanter and eight wine glasses for $3.
Someone who decorates a lot for Halloween would have hit the jackpot here.
We stopped at Mr. Submarine for lunch.
