My friend, M, has planned three multi-generational Lenten activities at church this month. She was looking for a few more people last night for the first one so Andy and I decided to go. (The turnout seemed pretty good to me.) The evening started with a light soup supper.

We decorated washers with the word "brave" on them.
Andy's is the fancier one.
The kids handed out pieces of paper and we each wrote down something we'd like to be braver at doing.
It was nice that we didn't share what each person wrote - for your eyes only. We placed the papers in a prayer box that can be added to throughout Lent if we choose.
