It's been awhile since Allison and I had entered the Broadway in Chicago lottery. We both entered Saturday for both shows on Sunday and I won discounted tickets to the evening performance of "1776." One of the ushers took this picture for us.
We went in not knowing much about it. I did read it had an all-female-presenting cast which was a little distracting to me. Our seats were on the orchestra level, Row K, pretty much in the middle.
We agreed it was an OK show. Glad we didn't pay full price for the tickets. Allison said she dozed off a couple of times and the couple sitting next to me didn't come back after intermission. As Andy said, "Well, you know how it ends."
