Here we were this morning, waiting in the lobby for the "sad bus" to take us to the airport. Good news, though. When we were checking up the clerk told us we had $100 credit left on our bill and told us to go shopping. Challenge accepted and we spent it all ... and then owed them $1.
Pulling away from the resort.
On the bus. It was about a two-hour ride. Just us and another couple who insisted they had to be in the first row or the wife would be sick. Oy. We had lunch at the airport. We ate at a Dairy Queen and had burgers and fried for $32. For real. It was hot but not good.
Sun setting somewhere over northern Georgia. Our plane landed a few minutes early. Getting through customs was a breeze and Allison came to pick us up. We stopped at Babygold BBQ for $5 burger night. So, so much better than the Dairy Queen burgers we had earlier.
