Creative kid
L had a vision. She wanted to make a shirt for work that matched her shoes so she bought four T-shirts from JoAnn's, ripped them apart, pinned the pieces together (that's the picture) and sewed them in a color block pattern. It turned out surprisingly well, with a couple of issues she fixed by hand.
Then she made the store logo with the Cricut (with permission of the district manager) and ironed it on. She did it all in just a couple of hours so she could wear it to work last night. Here she was, ready for work in the newly created shirt and holding her matching shoes. August, of course, had to sit on the shirt to make sure it had a sufficient amount of hair on it before she went to work. He knows he has a job to do.
And for when she's back at school working in the other store, she made a Journeys shirt.
