Andy and I stayed at the Redmond Inn, really close to E's apartment. We had breakfast at the hotel and then went to her apartment to start building more furniture. Andy and E started with the TV stand.
Then they put together the bed.
We went to a Fred Meyer grocery/clothing store to get this rug E wanted. It's washable so she's hoping when she gets her dog she'll be able to wash out any accidents it may have. We went to Costco so E could buy a mattress and we grabbed a cheap lunch.
While we were out her leasing office called and said lots of boxes were delivered to her via UPS. They brought them up to her hallway for her.
Two arrived in bad shape, torn open near the bottom.
Her dishes were broken and a bowl she made at U of I was broken. Andy plans to submit a claim to see if we can recoup some of the cost for her.
Next on the agenda was stopping at Best Buy to pick out a TV.
After we got the TV in her apartment we walked to a nearby Red Robin for our Valentine's Day dinner. She's in the Town Center of Redmond so she's within walking distance to a lot of stores. A Bed Bath & Beyond is across the street from her building.
Andy and E set up the TV controls once we were back at her apartment. She doesn't have cable TV, but she can still use our Comcast remotely and she has Netflix and Hulu.
