I made a meatloaf in the Crockpot yesterday and as I was turning it off, the knob split in two. B tried to see if it would go back together. We searched for Super Glue but didn't find any. Then the other side of the knob fell off. Andy made an executive decision and said it's time for a new one so I threw it in the garbage this morning. I can't recall whether it was a bridal shower or wedding gift, but we had it (with pretty regular use) for almost 30 years.
