Today was B's last day at Andy's office. They sent him off with a $75 Visa gift card and said he's welcome to come back and work over winter break and next summer. Sounds like he did a good job. It was also E's last day as a Microsoft intern and she promised to send a picture or two, but didn't.
This afternoon we went to church, L brought her friend A along, to package and price items for the youth group's bake sale tomorrow.
Lots of delicious-looking treats.
After that, Andy and I went downtown for our early anniversary dinner at Frontera Grill. First things first, you get a margarita.
Then the appetizer. These are quesadillas with the cheese inside.
Andy had the Oaxacan Carne Asada and I had the Carne Asada Brava.
We couldn't leave without sharing a piece of Pecan Pie with Kahlua Whipped Cream. Wow. Sady, we did not have any Rick Baylee’s sighting this year.
Then we went to Union Station to wait for Cindy's train to get in.
And she's arrived!
